Confidential Support for Parents and Carers

Our counselling service provides a safe, confidential and supportive space where carers can talk openly about their experiences and receive emotional support.

Supporting a loved one affected by addiction can place enormous emotional pressure on families. Many parents and carers experience stress, anxiety, sadness and feelings of isolation while trying to cope with difficult and uncertain situations.

Who Can Access Our Service

Our charities counselling service is available for:

  • parents, carers & family members affected by a loved one’s addiction

  • individuals experiencing emotional stress, cohesive abuse, anxiety linked to addiction within the family

Our private counselling service is available for:

  • adults affected with a range of issues outside our charities criteria of parents or carers affected by a loved one’s addiction

  • individuals experiencing a wide range of issues including, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement, loss, trauma, stress, depression, abuse, relationship and family issues

Types of Counselling Available

We aim to make counselling as accessible as possible and offer different options depending on individual circumstances.

Free Counselling

Where funding allows, we provide free counselling sessions for carers who may not otherwise be able to access support.

Part-Funded Counselling

Some sessions may be part-funded, meaning a small contribution helps support the service.

Private Counselling

Private counselling sessions are also available at competitive rates, for those who would like additional support but do not meet our charities criteria.
